Jr. Ranger Wildflowers: Saturday, March 14th from 10 am to 11 am

Drop by the Jr. Ranger table for fun kid friendly activities located by the kids track in the east end of the park. Learn about the native wildflowers that take over the park in spring. Make your own paper flower bouquet and mini seed pot. Jr. Rangers is a statewide program for 7 – 12 years old.

Carnegie’s 14th annual Visitor Appreciation Day Saturday, March 21st from 10 am to 2pm

Carnegie’s 14th annual Visitor Appreciation Day on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10am-2pm with all visitors receiving free entry to the park. This day is to celebrate our visitors by bringing out businesses, clubs, and organizations to share and connect with the visitors. There will many kid friendly activities, including making mini-Carnegie bricks and many prizes to win!

History ride: Saturday, April 25th from 10am-11am

Learn about coal mining and the Carnegie Brick and Pottery Plant by riding to the many cultural sites in the park. Meet at the Special Event area where we will ride to the west end and kiln canyon area. Ride rated easy.

Jr. Ranger Birds of Prey: Saturday, May 16th from 10am-11am
