Donner Summit
Permits are required at all SNO-Park locations.
Fees are $15/day OR $40/season.
Donner Summit
Donner Summt is located on the south side of I-80 at the Castle Peak exit beyond Boreal Inn.
Recommended Activities: Cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and snow play. There are no hills for sledding at this location.
- Ski trails are on the north side of the freeway.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Land adjoining to the SNO-Park site is private property. NO Recreational use is allowed on the private property.
- Overnight parking is allowed for Trail Users only. Overnight parking is unoccupied vehicle parking. No camping/in-car camping as allowable per Forest Order 17-22-06.
