USFS - Humboldt-Toiyabe NF - Patrol District

Friends of Hope Valley is a non -profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the scenic, recreational and historical use of Hope Valley and Alpine County's eastern slope. Our group worked with the Forest Service and snowmobile organizations to create the Alpine Winter Recreation Plan. The plan has been a success thanks to all the law enforcement efforts of the Forest Service. This past year the increased patrolling has made a big difference the in number of incursions.
