Prairie City SVRA Visitor Appreciation Day - 2011
Prairie City SVRA held its second annual Visitor Appreciation Day on October 16, 2011. Admission to the park was waived for the event. The event was designed to showcase and celebrate the wide variety of recreational opportunities offered at the park. This year the event coincided with the opening of the new 4x4 obstacle course. There were demonstrations and displays of various recreational activities, including trials riding and rock racing.
Local off-highway vehicle dealers representing motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and recreational off-highway vehicles were on hand to demonstrate the latest innovations. Can-Am and Polaris offered visitors the opportunity take demo rides. Several off-highway clubs and organizations had booths displaying activities and information on how to get involved.
This was the park’s day to say thank you to all of its visitors. There were 777 visitors at the event. Some were visiting the park for the first time. All were able to experience the many recreational opportunities that Prairie City SVRA has to offer. [10/24/11]
