Outreach and Recruiting Opportunity at The Wildlife Society's Annual Conference
California State Parks, Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division, will participate in The Wildlife Society’s annual conference, September 20th – 23rd in Monterey. This event is a unique opportunity to showcase the OHMVR Division’s environmental management practices and to interact with environmental students, professionals, and those interested in the balance between OHV recreation and environmental stewardship. Building on the OHMVR Division’s efforts at the California Native Plant Society’s conference this past January, the OHMVR Division participates in these events as an opportunity to raise awareness about its environmental management programs and practices, and to encourage professionals in the natural resources management field to pursue careers with California State Parks.
