California Recreation Alliance

I think this is a very worthy project. It would provide a recreation opportunity for both local riders and bring in others to the area. Ft. Bragg businesses would also benefit from having this. I'd enjoy the opportunity to do some off-road riding when visiting the area. Sometimes I go up there to camp on the coast, but having a riding area would make it attractive to take more extended trips. Peter Lipson – 3/25/16

I strongly support this grant application because it will directly fund opening and operation of a 100-acre OHV park by leasing existing timerland, therefore requiring no ground disturbing activity. Coastal Mendocino County currently has no legal OHV opportunities for off-road enthusiasts so adding this 100-acre land will take the burden off private- and protected-land, reducing trespassing, environmental and monetary damages.
