I have read the State Parks OHV grant applications for the California Trail Users Coalition for Ground Operations - Access Roads and Trails Maintenance (Sot SNF), Ground Operations - Angeles National Forest Repaving Parking Lot, Education & Safety - SotSNF OHV Host Program and Education & Safety - New & Updates for NF&BLM Area Trail Maps and find them to contain useful and creative ways to improve OHV in California.  Please fund these grants to the fullest extent possible. [Ed Stovin, CORVA - 4/4/09]

This memo is in support of the Grant submitted by the Stewards of the Sierra National Forest. The applicant has demonstrated a request to do real work to improve the condition of the National Forest. More work will be done than is indicated on the request. My support goes to this group. [Narvell Conner, Central California Quad Riders - 4/2/09]

I have read the grant requested by the California trail user’s coalition (CTUC). This organization has the best interest for the public in mind. Through their public information networking with other groups, and maps made available to the OHV user public, usage by would be OHV enthusiasts may continue being informed, and made aware of all issues to safe and proper usage of the lands for OHV activity. The CTUC should be allowed this grant and funds as they request. [Bernie Hoene - 3/19/09]
